Story by Jane
Case: Jane, 50 year-old female
Chief Complaint: Low back pain
"Less than two weeks before a very special birthday trip to Hawaii, I aggravated an old back injury by rotating my mattress. Within a few hours I could not walk upright. I was very concerned about feeling well enough to endure an eight-hour flight, and being able to walk when I landed. Jennifer treated me two times in the 10 days before my trip, with acupuncture and tuina. I immediately experienced a feeling of stability, then one day of what I would describe as soreness, and then I was as good as new. As a precaution, I went to the doctor and got a prescription for Flexeril and Tylenol #3. I took one Flexeril before I boarded the plane and never used another dose again. Six months later, the low back pain returned. I saw Jennifer the same day and she treated me with the method as last time. As before, my stability returned immediately, the pain disappeared, and after one day of soreness I was back to normal. I highly recommend acupuncture and oriental medicine for acute pain episodes before they become a chronic problem and affect your daily routine."

I have studied advanced treatments for low back pain and there are very effective treatments with acupuncture and sometimes herbs are added. I have worked with Stenosis, Herniation, Arthritis, Disc Degeneration, Sciatica, and many other issues. I work with my patients to get the most effective treatment and faster healing time, as well as, to work along with their doctors and other practitioners to get patients feeling better ~ Jennifer E Winer L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., MSOM
